Tithe survey 1839
The tithe survey was carried out in 1839. The survey was done by Willam Goode who lived in the village (you can see him and his family in the 1841 census).
The tithe map covered the whole parish. Here I have only shown the larger scale map covering the village. The numbers on this map (and I have added my own copies of the numbers) refer to a document called the apportionment or schedule, which I have not yet seen. This gives the owner, occupier and other details about the land.
